A strange dream leads me to marriage

The world of jinn is a strange and wondrous one. Not all of it is as scary as we think it is in popular stories. Rather, sometimes funny and surprising events occur there. Today's story is a prime example of this, told by a professor who swears to God that every word in it is 100% true.

The professor says: At first, I didn't believe it, but after I heard the story and lived its details, I became certain of what had happened.

The story began in 2014 when I was appointed as an Islamic education teacher in a remote southern village. At first, it was difficult for me, as I was my mother's only child after my father passed away years earlier, and she had raised me to where I am today. Despite my hesitation, my mother insisted that I go, assuring me that my sustenance awaited me and wishing me success. After much deliberation, I put my trust in God and traveled to the village.

The village was remote and the road was bumpy, but I quickly grew fond of the people; they were kind and didn't make me feel like a stranger. Months passed, and I got to know everyone and became familiar. I taught religion, and when the imam of the mosque was sometimes absent, the villagers would ask me to lead them in prayer out of respect for my knowledge, even though there was an older imam who would recommend me to do so when he was absent.

I taught religion, and when the imam of the mosque was sometimes absent, the villagers would ask me to lead them in prayer out of respect for my knowledge, even though there was an older imam who would recommend me to do so when he was absent.

Two days later, I saw him again in the village. He was thanking me in front of everyone, even though I didn't know him. I greeted him respectfully, and he asked me to visit him in his village, about 30 kilometers away, saying he had an important matter to report to.

After the afternoon prayer, we drove to his house, a simple, rustic-style home. He offered me coffee and then began to tell his story: He had a daughter who loved going to the mountains despite their warnings. As time passed, she began to act strangely, not speaking or responding, until she suddenly lost her hearing and speech. They took her to doctors, but to no avail. Then he asked me to recite the Quran over her, even though I wasn't a legitimate exorcist, just a professor of religion.

I agreed out of a desire to experiment, and the girl came modestly and fully covered. I recited Ayat al-Kursi and the Mu'awwidhat over her several times, but she didn't react at all. I told him I didn't see any obvious signs of the possession. He thanked me and apologized for disturbing me.

On my way back, I saw an abnormally large black dog standing between an orchard and a vacant lot. I had never seen a dog that big in my life. I stopped my car, stunned by the size of the dog, but what made my heart pound was that it stared directly at me without moving. Suddenly, it turned around and disappeared between the trees at an unnatural speed, as if the ground had swallowed it. I felt a shiver run through my body, so I sought refuge in God and continued on my way to the village.

The next day, the same man came to me with his daughter, but this time the girl was different. Her face was calmer, and her eyes held a strange look, combining sadness and hope. I sat down and began reading to her again, but suddenly, in the middle of reading, her voice changed and a hoarse, masculine voice came out, saying:
“Enough… you hurt me with what you read… I will go out, but not now.”

My blood froze, but I held myself together and continued reading until her body began to tremble, then she calmed down completely. She opened her eyes and looked around as if she were waking up from a long dream, then burst into tears and fell into her father's arms.

The man cried, thanking God, then turned to me and said:
“I knew you were the reason my daughter was cured, but I never imagined it would happen so quickly.”

I asked him about the dog I had seen the night before, and he gave a mysterious smile and said:
“That wasn’t a dog…that was him.”

I realized then that I wasn't dealing with an ordinary patient, but with a real case of possession, and that the black dog was nothing but the embodiment of the jinn that was harming her.

From that day on, I began to believe that the world of jinn is not all evil, but confronting it requires firm faith and a heart that knows no fear except of God.
