Shadows of Najran between gold and jinn

Written by: Son of the Desert
In a village south of Najran, it became famous in 2016 for its rumoured buried treasures. For your information, the village has been abandoned for many years, and its houses are almost destroyed and terrifying. People were afraid to enter it because of its reputation, saying that it was haunted by jinn.
One day, there were two brothers, Ahmed and Abdulaziz. Abdulaziz was always watching videos on YouTube and social media about people searching for treasures and actually finding them. Abdulaziz began to convince his brother Ahmed to go with him to extract the treasure from that village, telling him that he wanted to improve their financial situation and buy houses and cars. He added: "I know someone who sells a device that detects treasure, and when you use it, it emits a sound that indicates the presence of metal underground. We will dig and find the treasure, God willing."
Ahmed responded, enticed by the idea of money and treasure. They bought the device and headed to the abandoned village south of Najran. They arrived after sunset, pitched their tent, lit a fire, and took their digging equipment and the device with them. They began searching the valley using the device, talking to each other about the joy of finding treasure and how it would change their lives.
Suddenly, the device emitted a sound, and the brothers smiled and felt hopeful. They began digging, but after about half a metre, they found worthless iron metal and felt disappointed. Abdulaziz said, "It's okay, let's continue searching. Good things are coming, God willing. Just be patient."
A little later, Abdulaziz moved away from Ahmed to relieve himself, then Ahmed heard him shouting, "Ahmed, come quickly!" Abdulaziz's voice was terrified, as if he were defending himself, even though there was no one around. Ahmed rushed towards his brother and found blood flowing from his nose and face, and noticed something like a shadow moving away from him. Abdulaziz ran towards one of the abandoned houses and said that when something strange approached him, he hit it and ran inside the house, while Ahmed grabbed his flashlight and followed his trail.
Ahmed entered the dark house and saw a large black man staring at him as if he wanted to attack him, so he took Abdulaziz and ran towards the car, but they saw a man with blue eyes and dark skin walking towards the ruins. Frightened, they got into the car and drove away at top speed. They heard a knocking sound on the back of the car, and Abdulaziz continued to suffer from the pain he had sustained.
When they arrived home, Ahmed opened the car door and helped his brother Abdulaziz, who was trembling, partially unconscious and bleeding from his nose. Ahmed and Abdulaziz's father rushed to him and recited verses from the Qur'an aloud until he regained consciousness, noting that he was bleeding from his nose and mouth.
After that, their lives returned to normal, but Abdulaziz felt intense heat at night despite the cold winter, as if someone were breathing in his face. Ahmed woke up to find his brother talking about frightening visions of jinns who wanted to kill him, so he reassured him that nothing would happen except what God had decreed.
In the morning, Abdulaziz told his father what had happened, so his father calmed them down and emphasised the importance of prayer and worship and not to be afraid of the jinn. The father brought a sheikh to read over Abdulaziz, and the sheikh told him that Abdulaziz had been touched by the jinn. He gave him musk oil to apply daily and musk incense to purify the place, and by the grace of Allah, Abdulaziz recovered completely.
Since then, the brothers have learned that health and well-being are better than worldly treasures, that the treasure hunt was a difficult and terrifying experience, and that only God protected them from harm.
